Tiger Woods' TGL series will have its second match on January 14 at the Sofi Center. This week, Jupiter Links Golf Club will play against Los Angeles Golf Club. TGL features four players in a team but only three of them play in a match.
This week, Tiger Woods is scheduled to play in the event alongside some other top-ranked golfers, including Collin Morikawa and others. In that note, let's take a look at the five top-ranked golfers teeing up in Match 2 of the TGL.
5 top-ranked golfers teeing up at TGL match 2
#1 Collin Morikawa
Collin Morikawa will be playing for the Los Angeles Golf Club in the TGL series. The American started his campaign on the PGA Tour earlier this month at The Sentry. He was very close to winning the event but struggled in the final round and settled in second place. Morikawa played the four rounds of 66, 65, 62, and 67 at the Sentry. After the Hawaii outing, he will be playing this week at the TGL.
#2 Tiger Woods
Fans will also be seeing Tiger Woods in action this week for his TGL team, Jupiter Links Golf Club. The American last participated in the PNC Championship, where he teamed up with his son Charlie and finally settled in second place. Following that, he is returning to play at the TGL.
#3 Justin Rose
Coming straight after winning the DP World Tour Team Cup, Justin Rose is also playing in the second match of the TGL. He will be joining the Los Angeles Golf Club side.
The English golfer is yet to start his campaign on the PGA Tour this year. However, he was the captain of the Great Britain and Ireland Team at the Team Cup event held last week on the DP World Tour. After his memorable outing in the team event, he is again playing in another team event this week.
#4 Max Homa
Max Homa will be joining the Jupiter Links Golf Club side in the TGL. The American last played at the Sentry and tied for 26th place. He played the four rounds of 69, 69, 67, and 68 at the Hawaii event and will now return to play this week at the tech-infused event.
#5 Sahith Theegala
Sahith Theegala is another top-ranked player teeing up at the TGL Match 2.
