Woods was meant to play in Jack Nicklaus' Friends of Golf charity tournament in 1991. However, due to his high school schedule, he could not make it. According to SB Nation Golf, here's what the PGA star had to say about the situation.
" I had to actually leave early. They wanted me to play in the 'Friends of Golf' event ... but I had to get back to school because we had a high school match that afternoon. So I booked it back down and made it for my high school match. "
