Adrian Meronk, born on April 20, 1993, in Wroclaw, Poland, has emerged as a distinguished figure in professional golf. Notably, he achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first Polish golfer to secure a European Tour card in 2019, marking a significant milestone for both his journey and the golfing community in Poland. His success inspires aspiring golfers in the country, reflecting his exceptional skill and unwavering commitment to the sport.

In 2016, Meronk decided to become a professional. In 2017, he competed on the Challenge Tour and placed second to Jens Dantorp in the Ras Al Khaimah Golf Challenge after losing in a playoff. He finished 30th overall at the end of the season. In 2018, he participated in the Challenge Tour again, finishing 48th overall with only one top-10 finish.

Meronk had a solid start to the 2019 Challenge Tour season. He tied for seventh place in his first two events, and in the D+D Real Czech Challenge, he came in third place. In September, he won the Open de Portugal, finishing two strokes ahead of Sebastián García Rodríguez and winning his first Challenge Tour. Meronk finished the 2019 season tied for fifth in the Challenge Tour Rankings, securing a spot on the 2020 European Tour.

Adrian Meronk’s Driver

Meronk is a Ping staff player who uses a complete set of Ping clubs. He begins with a Ping G430 Max driver featuring 10.5 degrees of loft.

For 2023, Ping's engineers have designed a driver with a slightly thinner face and shallower profile, along with the brand's forged variable face thickness. This innovation should result in more flexibility, incredible speed, and forgiveness across the face. He begins with a Ping G430 Max driver featuring 10.5 degrees of loft.

Adrian Meronk’s Fairways

Meronk uses a Ping G425 Max fairway wood that has a 14.5-degree loft. Unlike its predecessor, the Ping G425 model has a one-piece face, which has increased ball speeds on the G425 by up to 1.5mph. As a result, it has become one of the most forgiving fairway woods on the market and allows for a decent gain in distance.

Adrian Meronk’s Irons

Meronk is using an older set of Ping irons, namely the iBlade released in 2016. These irons are more forgiving than the Ping Blueprints, which are also popular among professional golfers. The iBlades are known for their exceptional performance in all the areas that skilled golfers prioritise, such as distance control, workability, and a soft feel.

Adrian Meronk’s Wedges

Ping makes all Meronk’s golf clubs except for his wedges. He prefers to use three Titleist Vokey SM9 wedges with 50, 54, and 58 degrees of loft. The SM9 is not a revolutionary change from the SM8, but Titleist claim that it has introduced the Progressive Center of Gravity (CG) design to enhance distance and trajectory control.

Adrian Meronk’s Putter

Meronk has a Ping Vault 2.0 Ketsch putter in his bag as his final club. The putter has a mallet design with simple yet effective sight lines, making it stand out against the head. The head shape is pleasing to look down on, and it's easy to tell when it isn't pointing at the intended line. He's been using the putter for a while now, and considering his success, it's not likely to change anytime soon.

Adrian Meronk’s Golf Ball

His golf ball of choice is a Titleist Pro V1x, one of the most popular golf balls used by professionals on Tour. This ball features the same reformulated 2.0 ZG Process Core and softer cover as the Pro V1, providing enhanced distance, improved feel, and better control. The main difference between the two models is that the Pro V1x is a lower-spinning ball ideal for players looking for maximum distance on their shots. Given the current emphasis on space out on Tour, it makes sense for many players to choose the Pro V1x.
