Sports broadcaster Amanda Balionis delighted her followers on Instagram with a post that perfectly captured her holiday spirit and her love for fitness. She called the experience a "Christmas miracle" as she came across a unique room at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
In a video shared on her Instagram story, the CBS reporter was seen performing advanced yoga poses on a blue mat. Balionis captioned the post:
"Christmas miracle! Gate was finally next to the SFO yoga room."
Balionis began her routine with light stretches to loosen her muscles before heading into a more advanced routine. The NFL sideline reporter went into an impressive headstand. The room's mirrored walls showcased her incredible balance and control.
Still remaining in the graceful posture, the 38-year-old crossed her legs one over the other to perform the Lotus Pose, which challenges the hips, thighs, and core while enhancing concentration. Balionis then went into a lying crossover stretch to target the gluteus medius and minimus as well as the obliques.
The Puppies and Golf founder cooled down in the downward dog position and alternately moved her feet to get a deeper stretch in her hamstrings. She then switched this move to the cobra pose to end her yoga session.
She performed her routine while stunning in an all-black outfit completed by a black puffer jacket. To add to the story, she incorporated Brenda Lee's iconic Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree song into the sped-up video.
Amanda Balionis pleads with her NYC fans to foster puppies
Amanda Balionis took to her Instagram stories to request her followers to foster puppies following a devastating incident in one of the shelters. A pipe had burst in the animal shelter leaving kennels flooded and animals standing out in New York City's unbearable cold.
Balionis reposted the Muddy Paws Rescue Center's original post detailing the severity of the case along with the caption:
"NY friends: are you able to foster one of these cuties over the holidays? The shelter flooded with a broken pipe and all the dogs need to find temporary homes. Fostering is FREE, they will provide everything you need ... you just need to provide love and a safe home for them to decompress."
Here's a look into her post regarding the devastating incident:
Balionis is an avid lover of dogs. She runs a non-profit organization called Puppies and Golf to provide financial aid to animal shelters around the world as well as families that were burdened by their furry friend's unexpected medical bills.
