Golf broadcaster Amanda Balionis recently shared a lighthearted and relatable insight into what she considers the hallmark of a successful vacation. She took to her Instagram account to post a stunning photo of a vibrant sunset over palm trees and houses and also share her tip.
The NFL sideline reporter captioned the picture:
"No group photos = a successful trip."
Here's a look at the stunning sunset she shared with her 321 thousand followers:
The humorous tip shares a sentiment felt by several frequent travelers. The 38-year-old feels that sometimes the best trips are the ones where you're too immersed in the moment and the environment to pause for a staged picture. She implied that it's better to live in the moment to enjoy yourself with your loved ones.
Balionis added that she was heading to the third stop on her 'friends and family tour'. She was traveling from Jacksonville to Lancaster right before New Year's Eve.
The CBS Sports reporter had an incredibly busy year from covering golf to football. Her trip with her family and friends appears to be a well-deserved break before she dives back into work.
Amanda Balionis stuns in a red outfit while endorsing her favorite drink
Amanda Balionis took to Instagram ahead of Christmas Day to share her recipe for making her favorite holiday drink. She stunned in a red top with a bow accent paired with black pants. The social media icon accessorized the outfit with a black and gold belt and dainty jewellery completed with a classic wavy open hairdo.
The golf reporter unboxed a package she got in the mail from Elijah Craig with their ingredients to make Craig Nog - a version of the winter classic egg nog. Here's a look at the video:
She received some sugar, star anise, cocktail picks, and an adorable container along with a bottle of Elijah Craig's small-batch bourbon. Balionis began by mixing up some egg whites, sugar, cream, and milk. However, she looked back at the recipe card to realize that she was not meant to mix them all together in one step.
The social media sensation revealed that she hasn't been cooking in a bit. Despite her mishap while cooking, she was pleased with how it turned out. She let the concoction cool down for four to six hours in the fridge before adding in the popular Elijah Craig small-batch bourbon and the drink turned out to be a hit at her holiday party later that night. Balionis ended the video by wishing her fans happy holidays.
