Amanda Balionis thanks the NFL team Houston Texans for introducing her to a new favorite protein shake

Amanda Balionis is one of the most well-known sports anchors who predominantly covers golf and the NFL. She is quite active on Instagram, with around 320 thousand followers, and shares updates about her life regularly to keep her followers and fans updated.

She recently shared a picture of her new favorite protein shake on her Instagram stories and thanked the NFL team Houston Texas' cafeteria for introducing this protein shake to her.

"Thank you @houstantexas cafeteria for putting me on these," she wrote while sharing the picture of the protein shake.

Balionis is currently working for CBS covering the NFL. She has been on a break from reporting on pro golf since the conclusion of the FedEx Cup regular season in August 2024. She informed her fans about her switch to the NFL by sharing a post on her Instagram.

"That’s officially a wrap on the 2024 @golfoncbsseason! This year had it all. From historic moments to heart-shattering events and every other emotion, you can imagine in between. I love this game. I love working in sports. Competing at the highest level requires and produces constant examples of inspiration, drama, unbridled joy, resilience, growth, and teamwork."

She is expected to make a comeback to golf once the 2025 PGA Tour begins on December 30th with The Sentry Tournament of Champions.

Amanda Balionis graduated in 2008 from Hofstra University, majoring in broadcast journalism. She started working immediately at Verizon Fios Channel 1 and MSG Networks and covered high school games.

She received her first big breakthrough in 2011, as she joined the PGA Tour as an in-house reporter. After about five years, she switched to Callaway Golf as a digital reporter.

Balionis joined CBS as a part-time reporter in 2017 and covered golf throughout the year. By 2018, she became an integral part of CBS and became its leading anchor for the PGA Tour, occasionally switching over to the NFL as well.

Balionis also does a lot of social work and runs a non-profit organization named Puppies and Golf for dogs. This organization provides a connection between rescue dogs and humans for healing and emotional benefits.
