American Century Championship 2024 schedule and format
The 35th edition of the American Century Championship is a 54-hole tournament. It follows a modified Stableford scoring system that awards points to players based on their performance on each hole and not by the total strokes relative to par.
The points in the modified Stableford scoring system are awarded as follows:
- 10 points for an albatross (3 under par)
- 8 points for a hole-in-one
- 6 points for an eagle (2 under par)
- 3 points for a birdie (1 under par)
- 1 point for a par (even)
- 0 points for a bogey (1 over par)
- -2 points for a double bogey or worse (2 over par or more)
The first competition — Korbel Long Drive Challenge, 16 Tee — will be held on July 11. The tournament will start with the first round on July 12 and will go on till the weekend to conclude with the final and third round on Sunday, July 14.
