Amanda Balionis is a well-known sports broadcaster who covers golf and NFL occasionally. She is quite active on Instagram, with around 320K followers, and makes regular posts about her day-to-day life to keep her fans updated.
Balionis posted a video on her Instagram story yesterday and revealed she had the best start to her weekend with a morning booty and barbells workout at the Mavericks Beach Club in San Diego. She posted a video of the same with the caption:
"The best way to start the weekend, thank you @bootybybarbells_sandiego and @mavericksbeacjclub for the holiday vibes."
Amanda Balionis is currently enjoying her off-season at her home in San Diego. Balionis took a break from golf and covered the NFL for CBS as the PGA Tour's regular season concluded in September. Balionis revealed she would come back to golf once the 2025 PGA Tour season begins in January.
She informed this decision through Instagram and posted a reel with a long caption and said she loves working in sports and that it's an honor for her to be a very small part of an incredible team at CBS that brings moments and stories to life each weekend.
When did Amanda Balionis start working at CBS?
Amanda Balionis was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on June 20, 1986. She moved to Lancaster when she was 10 years old and now lives in San Diego, California. She majored in broadcast journalism at Hofstra University in Long Island and graduated in 2008.
After working at various organizations, she worked as an in-house reporter and produced digital content for Callaway Golf's media production team. Eventually, in 2017, she moved to CBS and has covered most of the top golf tournaments.
Balionis is now the senior PGA Tour and NFL anchor on CBS, and she has built a healthy and friendly relationship with her colleagues. She made a post on her Instagram in May after the 2024 PGA Championship and appreciated them, writing:
"Couldn’t ask for a better team or better friends to make the best job in the world and also the most fun. The time, effort, and hours put in behind the scenes to bring this Championship to life is insane. I’m forever grateful to be a small part of the greatest teams that consistently churn out an unmatched viewing experience."
Apart from golf, the 38-year-old broadcaster loves dogs and runs an NGO named Puppies & Golf. She founded the NGO in 2020 to protect and advocate for dogs in need and also to make people understand the health benefits of having a dog in their lives.
