Taylor Funk, a friend of hers and the son of PGA Tour veteran Fred Funk, picked out the outfit, as per the NY Post.

Teresi described to The Post how her outfit arrived at Drive Shack in Palm Springs:

“[Taylor] was at my apartment doing laundry because he had a tournament in the area. Then he was like, ‘You need to wear these boots, trust me,'” “His mom golfs in heels all the time,” said the host of the "Tag Team" podcast. “[Taylor] picked out my entire outfit, so I wore it.”

After seeing Taylor at the Big Money Golf Classic, Teresi got in touch with him on social media.

Teresi noticed a significant change in her social media following after taking up the game, earning a couple of hundred thousand followers and milllions of views.

“I definitely noticed a big increase in engagement after I started posting golf content. When I started posting golf videos, people were much more inclined to watch and comment as opposed to the typical bikini post,” she told The Post.

She added that since taking up golf, she's been able to book more broad modeling jobs in sports and other industries.

Teresi said she couldn't care less in response to critics who argue that by wearing miniskirts on the golf course and elsewhere, she is "oversexualizing" women in sports. She told The Post:

“Women don’t have to fit in one box. Me as a woman, I model, play sports, I’m highly educated, and I don’t have to be one thing. That’s what I’m trying to show on social media, that you can be whatever you want to be."
