Brooks Koepka is a famous professional golfer from America who has won the majors five times during his golf journey and set several prestigious records in the golf world. The golfer went professional in 2012 and, to date, has had 19 victories in his professional career.

Under his list of championships come nine of his PGA Tour victories and seven European Tour victories that he has had until March 2024. He also secured multiple victories in major championships, including the PGA Championship in 2018, 2019, and 2023, and the U.S. Open in 2017, and 2018.

Koepka has also earned the titles of Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year in 2014, European Tour Graduate of the Year in 2014, PGA Player of the Year twice in 2018 and 2019, PGA Tour leading money winner (2018-2019), MENA Tour Order of Merit winner (2022-2023) and many more. Currently, he is playing in the LIV Golf Invitational Series, which he joined in June 2022.

Sports runs in his family, as his father, Bob Koepka, was an excellent baseball player playing as a pitcher on the college baseball team during his time at West Virginia Wesleyan.

Brooks Koepka’s Early Life

Koepka was inspired by his father and began playing as a passionate baseball player but after a road accident, he changed his mind and then was enrolled in a junior golf program at the Okeeheelee Golf Course. He also has a sibling, his younger brother, Chase Koepka, who is also a professional golfer. Their father taught them both about the basics of golf.

Koepka attended Cardinal Newman High School, which was in West Palm Beach. After completing schooling, Koepka attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, where he was a three-time All-American.

During his college days, Brooks Koepka won several golf tournaments as an amateur, including the 2009 Rice Planters Amateur, the 2011 Brickyard Collegiate, the 2012 Seminole Intercollegiate, and the 2012 Florida Atlantic Intercollegiate. At this time, he was also qualified for the 2012 U.S. Open but finally missed the cut.
