He held his No. 1 position for a solid 47 weeks in late 2018, as per the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). He also won the PGA and U.S. Open titles in the same year, making history by winning them back-to-back. A year before, he achieved his first major title at the U.S. Open.

Koepka won his fourth major tournament at Bethpage Black during the 2019 PGA tournament, and then won his fifth major championship at the 2023 PGA Championship, making it five major victories in six years.

Brooks Koepka’s Masters Tournament Wins

In the 2019 Master Tournament, Koepka finished with a total score of 276, under 12, but still got defeated by Tiger Woods by a margin of one stroke. He tied for second place with Dustin Johnson and Xander Schauffele.

At the 2023 Masters Tournament, Koepka came in four strokes behind Jon Rahm and tied for second place with Phil Mickelson. After the third round was postponed due to inclement weather, Koepka began the last day of the event with a four-stroke lead and had to play thirty holes.

Brooks Koepka’s PGA Championship Wins

Brooks Koepka has won the PGA Championship thrice in 2018, 2019, and 2023.

Koepka won the 2018 PGA Championship, his third overall major win, with a score of 264, under 16. After winning, he became the fifth player to win the PGA and the U.S. Open in the same year.

In the 2019 season, and as the defending champion at the PGA Championship, he made history by successfully defending it since Tiger Woods did it in 2007. He won by a margin of two strokes against Dustin Johnson with a score of 272, under 8.

In 2023, Koekpa became the first LIV Golf player to win a major at the PGA Championship; it was his fifth major win, which also added his name to the list of players who have won five majors, being 20th. He won against Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland, both tied for second place, by a margin of two strokes and a score of 271, under 9.

Brooks Koepka’s U.S. Open Wins

Brooks Koepka won the U.S. Open two times in 2017 and 2018.

Koepka's first major title, the 2017 U.S. Open, was won against Brian Harman and Hideki Matsuyama by a margin of four strokes and a score of 272, under 16. His victory equaled Rory McIlroy's 2011 record for the lowest U.S. Open score at 16 under.

After winning the 2018 U.S. Open by one stroke over Tommy Fleetwood with a score of 281, over 1, Koepka became the first player to win consecutive U.S. Open championships since Curtis Strange in 1989.
