Brooks Koepka sits tied for sixth place at the 2024 LIV Golf Invitational that is underway in the United Kingdom. Not only is the LIV Golf star seeking to earn his fifth title in the league, he is also celebrating an incredible milestone this week.
Koepka and his wife, Jena Sims, welcomed their first son, Crew Sims Koepka, into the world on July 27, 2023 and the couple recently celebrated the latter's first birthday.
The celebrations were held amidst the LIV Golf Invitational at the JCB Golf and Country Club in the United Kingdom. Jena Sims brought a cake with the Smash GC colors and logo. Baby Crew smashed the cake with his fist before enjoying it.
The former PGA Tour star's wife and son often join him at tournaments, and they've become close with his Smash GC teammates.

In a recent Instagram reel posted by Smash GC, Talor Gooch, who is a part of the team, revealed that he is great at changing diapers. He joked about winning an Olympic gold medal if the sport existed. Jena Sims playfully responded to the past, inviting the 32-year-old Gooch to put his skills to the test by helping change her and Koepka's one-year-old son's diaper. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model wrote,
" Talor [Gooch] is welcome to come change some diapers! "
Jena Sims and Brooks Koepka's journey
Brooks Koepka had approached Jena Sims for the very first time in 2015 via a direct message sent on Instagram. The two conversed online before meeting in person at the Augusta Masters, where Koepka was competing.
Mid-round, the 34-year-old noticed Sims in the crowd and paused to share a warm embrace with his future wife. Later that day, he met the rest of her family.
After dating for a couple of years, the couple got engaged in 2021 and officially tied the knot in 2022. A year into their marriage, they welcomed their first child, Crew Sims Koepka, into the world.
Due to Crew's breech position, Jena underwent a cesarean section. Crew was born six weeks premature and required intensive care for about six weeks. Thankfully, both mother and baby were eventually discharged in good health. Since then, they've been inseparable, with Jena and Crew frequently supporting Brooks Koepka at LIV Golf events.
