Cameron Young is a professional golfer with four professional victories in five years, having turned pro in 2019. He hasn't yet won a major title but has had two top-3 performances. Also, he was named the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year for the 2021–2022 season.

Young tied for second place at the Genesis Invitational in February 2022 and entered the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). In May 2022, Young tied for third place at the 2022 PGA Championship. After leading the field in the first round of the 2022 Open Championship with a bogey-free score of 64 (-8), he trailed Cameron Smith by one shot in the final round despite eagling the last hole.

Young replaced his caddy in March 2023 with Paul Tesori, a former Webb Simpson looper. Young finished second in their first-ever WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play after losing to Sam Burns in the sixth and fifth finals matches. He tied for ninth place at the Masters Tournament the following month.
