The 2024 PNC Championship will be played December 21-22 at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. Tiger Woods and his son Charley will be among the main attractions of the event and also among the favorites to win.

The major sports bookmakers do not consider Team Woods as the team with the best chances to win the PNC Championship title, but as one of the main contenders. According to BetMGM (cited by Golf Monthly), John Daly and his son John II are the main favorites to win the event (+350).

Tiger Woods and Charlie are fourth on BetMGM's list of favorites, although their odds (+500) are very close to the leaders. Team Cink and Team Kuchar are second and third, respectively:

  • John Daly and his son John Daly II (+350)
  • Stewart Cink and his son Connor Cink (+400)
  • Matt Kuchar and his son Carson Kuchar (+400)
  • Tiger Woods and his son Charlie Woods (+500)
  • Bernhard Langer and his son Jason Langer (+650)
  • Vijah Singh and his son Qass Singh (+650)
  • David Duval and his son Brady Duval (+2200)
  • Tom Lehman and his son Sean Lehman (+2200)
  • Nelly Korda and her father Petr Korda (+2500)
  • Steve Stricker and his daughter Izzi Stricker (+2500)
  • Padraig Harrington and his son Paddy Harrington (+3300)
  • Trevor Immelman and his son Jacob Immelman (+3300)
  • Fred Couples and his step-son Hunter Hannemann (+6600)
  • Justin Leonard and his son Luke Leonard (+6600)
  • Mark O’Meara and his son Shaun O’Meara (+12500)
  • Nick Faldo and his son Matthew Faldo (+25000)
  • Annika Sorenstam and her son Will McGee (+25000)
  • Nick Price and his son Greg Price (+25000)
  • Gary Player and his grandson Alexander Hall (+50000)
  • Lee Trevino and his son Daniel Trevino (+50000)

The PNC Championship field consists of 20 teams, each comprising one professional player and one amateur family member. Professional players must have won at least one Major championship (men and women) or the Players Championship (men) to be eligible for an invitation.

A look at past winners of the PNC Championship

The top four teams in BetMGM's options to win the PNC Championship list share the trait that all of their amateur players (John Daly II, Connor Cink, Carson Kuchar and Charlie Woods) have had careers in junior or college golf.

The same has been true for the past two years. In 2023, Bernhard Langer won with his son Jason, who played for the University of Pennsylvania until 2022, while a year before, Vijay Singh won with his son Qass, who actually pursued a career in professional golf, although more than 10 years ago.

These are the teams that have won the PNC Championship:

  • 2023 Bernhard Langer and son Jason Langer
  • 2022 Vijay Singh and son Qass Singh
