Professional golfer Christiaan Bezuidenhout was born on May 18, 1994. Though he is currently playing on the PGA Tour, he has ten professional victories, with none on the PGA but three on the European Tour and four on the Sunshine Tour, among others.

He had a fine amateur career, but he was suspended for two years during the 2014 Amateur Championship for using beta blockers, although he was having them for his anxiety and stuttering issues. Later, the two-year suspension was reduced to nine months, and he turned professional early in 2015.

Bezuidenhout initially played on the regional Big Easy Tour, where he won the Order of Merit in his rookie season and won two 36-hole events. By late 2015, he had qualified for the Sunshine Tour by Q School and played at the 2016 BMW SA Open, finishing runner-up against Brandon Stone.

The following year, he won the Sun Fish River Challenge, his first win on the Tour, and then went on to win the 2020 Dimension Data Pro-Am four years later; this event was co-sanctioned by the Challenger Tour.

Meanwhile, at the 2019 Open Championship, he made his first appearance but failed to make the cut. Next year's Masters appearance was rather successful, as he made the cut but finished tied for 38th, which was also his best Masters performance to date.

According to his official PGA profile, he joined the tour in 2022, the same year he had his best PGA tour performance, finishing tied for second place at the 2022 John Deere Classic against J.T. Poston. He also played at the 2022 Presidents Cup, playing two matches in which he won one and tied for the other.

Most recently, his performance at the 2024 American Expression was astonishing; he was the runner-up against Nick Dunlap. Beezuidenhout received the winner's share, though, because Dunlap was an amateur.
