Daniel Berger was a rising star on the PGA Tour when he had to leave golf due to a back injury, but he returned most recently after an absence of 18 months at the 2024 American Express. He has had victories at the Charles Schwab Challenge (2020), AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (2021), and the FedEx St. Jude Championship (2016 & 2017).
