TAKE Chennai’s Khalin Joshi fired a 7-Under par, 65, on Day 2 of the 4th edition of the Rs. 1.2 Crore Louis Philippe Cup at KGA, Bengaluru.
Joshi’s spectacular bogey free round featured 5 Birdies and an eagle to ensure his team, TAKE Chennai, was well positioned in the lead at 12-Under par over two days. His teammate and two time European Tour Winner, SSP Chawrasia shot a one-under 71 to ensure that the TAKE Chennai team carded a combined 8-Under (best of two scores) par for round two.
In second place and 5 shots behind (at 7-under par after two days) are Navratna Ahmedabad with a solid round from Sri-Lankan’s Anura Rohana (4-Under par) & Mithun Perera (2-Under Par) and Laqshya Mumbai helped by a 3-Under par round by Arjuna Awardee Jyoti Randhawa.
Randhawa was off to a great start with 4 birdies and an eagle but 3 bogeys in the round set his score back. Another highlight of the day was 23-year-old Abhijit Singh Chaddha representing the Zion Hills Bengaluru team. Chadha had 6 birdies, an eagle and two bogeys to card a 6-Under par round to ensure his team was firmly in 3rd place at 6-Under par after two rounds.
The final round action begins tomorrow at 9 AM.
