Kansas-based social media celebrity and YouTuber Garrett Clark is the founder of "Good Good Golf," along with his cousin Micah Morris, Matt Schraff, Stephen Castaneda, and Tom Broders. The company's CEO is Matt Kendrick. Clark, also renowned for his trick shots, is the creator of some of the most-watched golf videos on the internet. According to the company website, he and Primo Golf Apparel's owner Grant Horvat joined the MizunoGolf roster of tour players and influencers in 2022.

Clark became well-known for sharing films about golf on social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram. He has over a million subscribers to his "gm__golf" YouTube account. gm__golf (with over 970K followers), goodgood (with over 850K followers), and garrettj_clark (with over 460K followers) are his three Instagram profiles. He also has another YouTube channel, Garrett Clark Vlogs, with 128K subscribers.

Who are Garrett Clark’s parents?

Garrett Clark's parents are Tamara and Gerald Clark, fondly known as Tami and Jerry. He also has a sister, Hannah Guzman, who married Jorge Diego Guzman in 2018, as per their respective Instagram handles. His father, Jerry, is a financial adviser, as per Golf.com; however, not much is available about their personal and professional lives.

According to a YouTube video titled “I Gave My Parents $100,000” from Garrett Clark's vlogs, he gave his parents a check for $100,000, which was a pretty emotional feed. In 2019, Clark told his father Jerry that he wanted to leave college and focus on content creation fully. Jerry wasn't on board right away, but he did provide him the chance to prove that it's a career he can successfully pursue by making $60,000. After he did, Jerry said via Golf.com:

"Son, you need to drop out of school immediately because you've got lighting in a bottle right now. College can wait."

By the end of the summer of 2019, Garrett, a freshman at Kansas Community College, had reached 150,000 subscribers to his GM Golf YouTube account. As of October 2024, his subscribers are at 1.23 million.

Eric Michael Savage's “GM Golf | The Story of Garrett Clark” is available on YouTube. In it, Clark narrates how he came to find golf. In a December 2020 video, he said that at 13, he played baseball and soccer but never enjoyed golf. He used to mock individuals who played golf, labeling it "stupid."

However, he explained that their neighbor had a par-3 golf course, where he played golf for the first time. He tied the score, playing with a seven iron, and on the last hole, he shot a hole-in-one, which is unusual given that he was playing for the first time, to which he said, "It just happened," and thus he "began to love the game." He started making YouTube videos much before he began playing golf at nine.
