Ludvig Aberg started off his TGL campgain last night. During the play, Kyle Porter, one of the most prominent journalists, took to X and poked a funny tweet at his wife's reaction to seeing the Swedish golfer Aberg.
"I was unprepared for my wife's reaction to seeing Ludvig in primetime," he wrote.
Ludvig Aberg is one of the most notable names who teed off in the first game of TGL -- the newly launched golf league. He is part of The Bay Golf Club team that started their campaign by defeating the New York Golf Club. Aberg has three teammates -- Shane Lowry, Min Woo Lee and Wyndham Clark -- in The Bay Golf Club for the 2025 TGL.
Earlier, during a recent episode of the PGA Tour Radio's Gravy & the Sleeze, Marty Smith highlighted the Swedish golfer and regarded him as handsome. Even though Aberg is one of the most well-known golfers on the PGA Tour, Smith couldn't help but talk about his looks.
"If you're someone like Rory [McIlroy]. Let's just take Rory as an example, who's on TV constantly during Major championships. Or now Ludvig [Aberg] because he's beautiful, right? I mean, the man is handsome. It's like I wonder if Rickie Fowler is giving him tips on how to be America's golf heartthrob," Smith said.
This comment left the hosts laughing. Ludvig Aberg is ranked 6th on the OWGR. He registered his first PGA Tour win in 2023, winning the RSM Classic.
