Anirban Lahiri to take part in the $750,000 Indonesian Masters Golf tournament

Three top golfers, including India's Anirban Lahiri, will take part in the 2015 Indonesian Master here from April 23-26, a tournament official said on Wednesday.

Arwin Rasyid confirmed that among the world's professional golfers who would join the tournament are British Lee Westwood, Lahiri and Danish veteran Thomas Bjork, reports Xinhua.

The golfers would vie along with 24 Indonesian golfers and 123 other golfers from other countries and regions at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club.

“We hope this tournament can inspire Indonesian young golfers to vie better in other international tournaments,” said Rasyid.

Rasyid said the tournament has a prize money of $750,000.

Westwood, World No. 30, had triumphed in the event in 2011 and 2012.
