Who won Most Prize Money in PGA Tour 2023

The 2023 PGA Tour money list’s final figures are a result of LIV Golf, which is in a way pressurizing the Tour to raise purses and discover new ways for its players to increase their earnings. Due to these general rises, the top earners on the tour are now earning more money than their LIV counterparts.

Naturally, the signing bonus or initial contract was the largest payout for the majority of players who left the PGA Tour to join LIV. Some golfers have contracts above $100 million, including Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, and Cam Smith.

In 2023, the PGA Tour awarded over $560 million in prize money, with $100 million going to the Player Impact Program and $75 million going to the Tour Championship. PIP funds are awarded to the top 20 players who increased tour exposure and engagement.

Upon distribution of the PIP funds, the 2023 money list had been finalized. The top 10 in LIV received prize money totaling around $147 million, while the top 10 in the PGA Tour made roughly $220 million altogether.

Who has won the most prize money in PGA 2023?

Scottie Scheffler received $21 million during the 2022–23 season, making him the money list winner for the second consecutive year; the previous year, he took first place with $14 million.
