Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods' TMRW Sports are set to launch the one-of-a-kind TGL League. The league will make its debut on January 7 2025 and will be played at the innovative So Fi Center located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The virtual golf arena's structure had run into grave trouble earlier this year. The caved roof had collapsed, leading to the league's debut being postponed to 2025. However, the reconstruction of the roof has begun at the stadium and is expected to be concluded by the end of this year in time for the launch.
Recently, NUCLRGOLF on X shared the updates of the ongoing construction:

Several fans all over the world gave their reaction to the upcoming TGL league next year.
"Gonna be sweet! Huge for the game, Monday’s just got a whole lot better," a fan wrote.
The TGL league is a non-traditional form of golf competition. With all shots being played inside the stadium using a simulator, some fans are not in awe of the concept. An X user said,
"NO ONE WANTS THIS "
With the league's expected launch date being postponed once already, one of the fans speculated that another delay is expected, and wrote,
"I can safely say that Jan 2025 date ain’t happening if this is a pic of the progress as of today," they opined.
Here are a few other fans' reactions to the construction progress of the So Fi Center and the TGL league's expected launch date.
"Not something I will watch. Staged golf inside a dome. Just as boring as the current not majors PGA [Tour] , " a user said.
"Hopefully there isn’t any “storm” that takes this down," a user wrote, recalling the structure's previous collapse.
"Please stop. Literally no one wants to watch professional golfers play on a simulator," a fan commented.
