Round 1 of the 2024 Presidents Cup on 26 September at Royal Montreal Golf Club in Quebec, Canada, was completely dominated by Team USA. The Jim Furyk-led team beat the Mike Weir-led International team 5-0 to pull off a clean sweep score for the fifth time in the history of the event.

However, while Team USA has dominated in pulling off clean sweeps, the International Team has also registered a clean sweep. The 2003 edition of the Presidents Cup witnessed the International Team pull off a clean sweep against Team USA.

Current International Team Captain Mike Weir played for the International Team in the 2003 edition of the Presidents Cup. The event, held at Fancourt Hotel and Country Club, saw Team USA and International team tie 17-17. It was later decided that the cup would be shared by both teams as the captains and players agreed to it.
