“He was built in a lab”: Max Homa makes feelings known about Swedish sensation Ludvig Aberg

Max Homa, known for his wit and honesty, revealed his ideal swing during the third round of The Sentry at the Kapalua Plantation Course and Resort on Saturday. In the world of professional golf, receiving praise from your fellow competitors is the ultimate compliment. Ludvig Aberg received just that.

During the broadcast of the third round, Aberg smashed a drive while the commentators and Homa talked about his swing. The 34-year-old stated he admired the Swedish golfer's mechanics and wished to replicate it. He said (via Instagram @pgatour):

"If you could builf a golf swing. I would build this one. Imagine he's just going to make it. He was built in a lab. So whatever it was it was just made perfectly."

Aberg's swing is a marvel to watch and displays the perfect blend of athleticism and biomechanics that's led him to be one of the PGA Tour's best players. Both players are in the field at this week's tournament. With most players still waiting to finish the third round, Aberg and Homa are through and are tied for 21st place and 26th place, respectively.

Max Homa's The Sentry Performance

Max Homa is tied for 26th place with Aaron Rai and Robert MacIntyre following the conclusion of their rounds on Saturday. The six-time PGA Tour winner has a 54-hole score of 14 under par and is 12 strokes behind the tournament's leader, Hideki Matsuyama, who has four more holes left to be played.

Homa opened up the first event of the year with a four-under-par 69 score at the challenging Kapalua Plantation Course and Resort. He replicated the score on the second day and went on to step it up with an incredible six-under-par 67 round on Saturday.
