Tiger Woods has appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon several times, most recently on April 30, 2024. Among the topics they discussed during that encounter, Woods and Fallon recalled an anecdote involving Charlie, the 15-time major champion's youngest son.
Taking advantage of Woods' presence on the show, Fallon told the audience about Charlie's golf skills, even when he was only 2 or 3 years old. According to Fallon, the anecdote happened when he and Woods met at a charity event.
At the time, Fallon wanted to show Woods a video of his then-newborn daughter, but had trouble finding it on his phone. Woods took the opportunity to show him a video of Charlie "still in diapers" as Fallon said.
This is how Fallon told it:
"You [talking to Tiger Woods] showed me a video of Charlie, and he's wearing diapers, and he has one of those... Chuckits? You know, the thing you throw balls for dogs with a tennis ball? So, the baby walks up, Charlie, he's holding the chuckit thing. He goes up to this tennis ball with the Chuckit and goes and hits this amazing [golf shot].
"He's a baby. He's a baby in diapers. And I go, 'Well, I found my video. This is my daughter sucking on a lemon for the first time. I thought that would be funny.' Just two dads being dads." [1:09 - 1:38]
Tiger Woods visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his new golf apparel brand, Sun Day Red. Woods launched the brand last February in partnership with one of his major sponsors, TaylorMade.
