American professional golfer Tiger Woods is widely regarded as one of the best golfers to ever step foot on a golf course. While Woods has won many tournaments and Major championships over the years, the golfer recently revealed what he thinks was his 'best' season.

On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the official handle of the PGA Tour uploaded a video in which Woods was asked which was his best year as a professional golfer. The 48-year-old mentioned the year 2000 was his best season ever.

In the year 2000, Tiger Woods won nine out of his 20 starts. On four occasions, Woods found himself as the runner-up, while he managed to be in the top-5 17 times. To sum it up, Woods won 45% of his starts that year, and he earned a remarkable $9,188,321 as a result of his victories.

What makes Woods' 2000 even more impressive is that three of his nine victories that year were Major championships. That year, Tiger Woods won the PGA Championship, The Open Championship, and the U.S. Open. As of 2024, the American golfer has 15 Major championships to his name.
