The full field for the 2024 Tour Championship has been set after the recently concluded BMW Championship. After four rounds of intense golf at the Castle Pines Golf Club in Colorado, the top 30 golfers in the FedEx Cup Standings have qualified to compete at the Tour Championship.

While this event will witness some of golf's biggest names compete, there will also be notable absentees from the field. Eleven players who competed for Team USA and Team Europe at the 2023 Ryder Cup won't be a part of the Tour Championship. Here is a list of those players:

Team Europe: Tyrrell Hatton, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Rose, Nicolai Højgaard, Jon Rahm (LIV Golf).

Team USA: Brian Harman, Max Homa, Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka (LIV Golf).

It's important to note that Luke Donald and Zach Johnson were the playing captains for their respective teams. However, it was Donald who led Europe to victory that year. Team USA will have an opportunity to avenge this defeat at the 2025 Ryder Cup, which will be played from September 26 to 28.

On the other hand, the Tour Championship will begin this week on August 29 and conclude on September 1. The event will be played at the East Lake Golf Course in Atlanta, Georgia, and will have a purse of $100 million. The winner of the tournament will take home a staggering $25,000,000.
