Donald Trump's granddaughter has followed in his footsteps when it comes to golf
Like Donald Trump, his granddaughter Kai Trump has a great love for the sport of golf. While Kai has been spotted with her grandfather on the golf course on various occasions, she recently took her first step in what may lead to her pursuing a career in golf.
Last month, the 17-year-old who majorly came into the spotlight for campaigning for Trump, committed to playing golf for the University of Miami. Kai made this announcement on Instagram and expressed her gratitude towards her 'grandpa' and several others involved in her career.
She wrote:
"I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Miami. I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey. I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point. I would like to thank my Grandpa for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support... I would also like to thank my Mormor (grandmother) for always believing in me. I would also like to thank my entire family for always encouraging and pushing me to be the best person I can possibly be."
In her post, Donald Trump's granddaughter also thanked her friends for always supporting her. She also extended her gratitude towards the coaches at the University of Miami and added that she couldn't wait to begin playing for the institution.
