Golf at the 2024 Paris Olympics will begin this week at Le Golf National. This is the same venue as the 2018 Ryder Cup, where Team Europe defeated Team USA. The men's golf event will begin on Thursday, August 1st, and the women will take over from August 7th at the same venue.
The best golfers worldwide will compete for a gold medal and national pride as golfers seldom get to represent their country. The format for this event will be a 72-hole stroke play over four days, as we usually see in professional golf.

There are 60 golfers in the field for men's and women's golf at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The qualification for the golf event at the Summer Games is based on the OWGR.
Team USA has the most golfers in the field (4) since they are ranked in the top 15 in the OWGR and the rules allow for a maximum of 4 golfers per country if this condition is met. The rest of the teams have two golfers in the field.
At the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Team USA won the gold medal as Xander Schauffele won the event. Slovakia's Rory Sabbatini won the silver, and C.T. Pan won the bronze.
