Golf's favourite influencer Karin Hart regularly posts on her social media about the things going on in her life. Although the majority of her content is based on golf, she also enjoys updating her 213k followers on Instagram with her day-to-day activities.

Karin Hart is an avid lover of dogs and cats. She has a senior dog named Grover, who will be turning 14 years old this year on September 7. About nine months ago, the young entrepreneur adopted a terminal cat whose name has not been made public yet.

Karin Hart shared a wholesome video of her and her new cat playing. The video shows the cat chasing some tassels on a stick in an open area of her home with a sweet song playing in the ambiance.

She highlighted the adoption process and the care that follows a terminal diagnosis in the caption of the Instagram post, writing:

"I can't believe this is my cat. The one I adopted sick and dying 9 months ago ... with a lot of love, a surgery, a daily regimen of medications, CBD, and red light therapy, she is finally feeling better and decided to play with me for the first time ever. "

Karin Hart dedicates a post to her dog

Having attended the University of Denver to play Lacrosse for the Division 1 team, Karin Hart faced a shocking diagnosis. In her third year of college, she was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid cancer. Gladly, she was declared cancer-free in 2011 following multiple bouts of radiotherapy, hormone treatments, and surgery.

In a special Instagram post dedicated to her senior dog, Grover's, 13th birthday, Hart opened up about the profound impact he has had in her life. She mentioned how he's helped her cope throughout her life-changing diagnosis. She shared an image of her and Grover on a bright and sunny day by the lake at St. Pete Pier with the caption:

"Shout out to my bff 🐼🐾 who turns 13 years young this month! 🥲 Grover has been by my side through so many ups and downs and there for me when many people weren’t. I am so lucky I adopted this cute little black and white stray puppy from the Bahamas... I might have saved his life, but he truly saved mine. 🖤🤍🐼🤍🖤 #grover#groverthedog#bohemianpotcake #adoptdontshop#seniordogsofinstagram #stpete#stpetepier "

With her dog, Grover, turning 14 years old in September, it can be deduced that Hart first brought the furry friend home for the first time in 2010. It was a year before she was declared cancer-free and healthy.
