On an exclusive episode of A New Breed of Golf with Michael Breed on SiriusXM's PGA Tour radio, the 63-year-old stated he was skeptical of the indoor virtual golf league. However, his doubts disappeared once he set foot in the state of the art SoFi stadium.

Here's what the PGA Tour veteran had to say about Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TGL (via Sirius XM PGA Tour Radio):

"I was a huge skeptic of this. Until you get into the stadium, it's a bit bigger than a hockey rink. A little bit smaller than a hockey rink stadium. But it has that feel. It's intimate... You feel like you're right on top of the golfers. It's filled with technology. I think it's cool... A three man, alternate shot, which we've never seen anywhere."

Faxon compared the TGL's home stadium to the Cameron Indoor Stadium at Duke University. Having made a whopping 708 appearances on the PGA Tour, he was stunned by the use of cutting-edge technology in the tournament.

He also emphasized that the league is about more than just golf. The 2005 Buick Championship winner noted that it brings a whole new level of engagement between fans and the players and their proximity to one another.

However, Faxon did have some reservations about TGL's opening night experience. He said (via SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio):

"The one thing you're not gonna be able to see when you're at the SoFi Center is you're not gonna be able to hear the players. I think that's a big part of it because there's some strategy."

Despite the audio concerns, Faxon was thrilled to be in the SoFi Center last night. His skepticism turned into genuine enthusiasm once the festivities began.
