Tiger Woods and his son Charlie shared a heartwarming and humorous moment at the ongoing 2024 PNC Championship following the 15-year-old's first career ace. The father-son duo added another memorable moment in their history at the tournament as they seek to win the championship this year.

During the second round, Charlie carded in his first hole-in-one on the Ritz Carlton Golf Club's par three fourth hole. Faced with a 176 yard long shot, the teenager accomplished the feat with a seven iron in his hands.

As the crowd erupted and celebrations continued, his father took the moment to teach the young amateur an unspoken "protocol" in the game. According to tradition over the decades, it's customary for the player who carded in an ace to buy a round of drinks for everyone present.

When Tiger turned to Charlie and said, "You're buying, " the Benjamin School golfer had a hilarious response lined up. He said (via X @PGATOUR):

"I'm not buying. I'm broke."

His sister, Sam, who is Woods' caddy for the week, was curious about the 82-time PGA Tour winner's comment. The 2019 Masters winner replied (via X @PGATOUR):

"He has to buy. That's protocol for making a hole-in-one. Round on you, bud."

Here's a look at the interaction at the fourth hole of the Ritz Carlton Golf Club:

Charlie's response was fitting for a teenager. The interaction perfectly captured the camraderie and humor in the Woods' family.

Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods set to win the 2024 PNC Championship

Team Woods are tied for the first place at the 2024 PNC Championship with an impressive score of 27 under par. The father-son duo share the position with PGA Tour Champions legend Bernhard Langer and his son Jason.

Following a solid opening round of 13 under par 59, the duo have stepped it up on the second day to gun for the victory following a second-place finish at the 2021 edition of the tournament.

With one hole left to be played for the day, fans have their eyes glued to the screen as they anticipate their maiden victory together as a team. Tiger and Charlie Woods started off the day with back-to-back birdies on the first and second holes.

A par on the third hole was followed by the young prodigy's hole-in-one on the fourth hole that put them in the solo lead. The ace served as good luck as the pair went on to card in three birdies in a row. They ended the front nine with a birdie to card in an impressive eight under par 28.

Team Woods followed it up with four birdies in the first five holes of the back nine. Despite recording a birdie on the 15th hole, Team Langer joined them in the lead. So far, the team has seen no bogeys while securing 12 birdies.
