While she addressed the issue recently at a tournament, she felt it was important to issue another statement regarding the matter. She wrote (via Instagram @charley.hull):
"I mentioned this a few weeks ago but after an incident at a tournament recently, I feel the need to speak out again. I will never ask for money or gift cards in exchange for meet and greets or fan club membership. These clubs are fake and run by scammers. My team and I only use my official social media accounts, @charley.hull (Instagram) @hullcharley (X) at ALL times, there are no exceptions. I am not on TikTok. There are SO many fake accounts out there claiming to be me, if you are contacted by them please please report. Let's all stick together so we can beat the scammers."
Charley Hull has over 703 thousand followers on her official Instagram platform. She regularly uploads content of her day-to-day routines and her lifestyle along with snaps of her golfing and worki-outs at the gym. Charley Hull speaks out on the LPGA Tour's slow play
Charley Hull recently addressed the persisting issue of slow play on the LPGA Tour, something that has happened several times this year. At the 2024 Annika tournament, the 28-year-old and World No. 1 Nelly Korda were forced to complete their third round after the sun had set.
According to The Guardian, Hull expressed that slow play not only impacts the players but also affects the spectators. With the third round taking over five hours and forty minutes to complete, she stated that the threat of penalties is not enough to improve the pace of play and that the LPGA Tour should take away player's eligibility if they are found guilty.
She said (via The Guardian):
"I’m quite ruthless but [my idea would be] if you get three bad timings, every time it’s a two-shot penalty. If you have three of them you lose your Tour card instantly. I’m sure that would hurry a lot of people up and they won’t want to lose their Tour card. That would kill the slow play, but they would never do that.”
However, Hull believes that the LPGA Tour will not carry out the threat. The English golfer has been renowned as one of the fastest players in the scene of professional golf.
