Ian Poulter is currently enjoying the off-season as the 2024 LIV Golf concluded a couple of months back. After enjoying the festive season, he is now gearing up for the upcoming LIV Golf season and is actively creating content for Majesticks GC YouTube Channel.
Recently, Ian Poulter and Henrik Stenson took on two YouTube golf stars, Brad from Goodgood Golf and GM_Golf's Garrett Clark. Even though it was a match-play format, they introduced a hilarious tee flip rule, where the team has to choose the drive of the player on whom the tee is pointing after a tee flip.
Quoting the Majesticks GC's tweet on X, Ian Poulter said he will be playing a tee flip again and asked fans to give it a watch, which is available on Majesticks GC's YouTube Channel. He wrote:
"Funny match this against the @goodgood_golf lads Brad and @gm__golf I will definitely be playing tee flip again! Give it a watch:"
Ian Poulter joined LIV Golf in June 2022 and has been part of the Majesticks GC. He is the co-captain of the side alongside his countrymen Lee Westwood and Henrik Stenson. However, he hasn't been able to create an impact as expected and has struggled to be consistent with his golf.
Look back at Ian Poulter's performance in LIV Golf in 2024
Ian Poulter had a disappointing season in LIV Golf in 2024. He registered his worst finish in the season-long individual championship as he finished 37th, while Majesticks GC finished 11th. Previously, the British golfer had finished 31st and 34th in the season-long individual championship in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
The only thing to remember for the 48-year-old golfer this year was his solo 5th finish at the LIV Golf Chicago, the final event of the season. Apart from this, his only top-10 finish came in Hong Kong with a T8 finish.
Talking about his performance at the LIV Golf Chicago press conference, Poulter said he just wants to play well every week, and it doesn't matter where he is in the order of merit position.
"I just want to play well every week. It doesn't matter where I am in kind of that order of merit position. It's not nice to be down there. I'm going to be moving my way back up, and hopefully, I'm not in that position next year, either. There's no sense of urgency from my side. It's just I want to try and win every week, and it just hasn't happened so far," Poulter said (via ASAP Sports).
