Hull attracted immense attention this year during the 2024 US Women's Open when she was spotted smoking on the golf course.
The British golfer had a decent season on the LPGA Tour this season, with five top-10 finishes in 17 starts. Hull couldn't register a victory on the LPGA Tour but was in contention to win The Annika, where, unfortunately, she finished runner-up for the event.
She missed just two cuts and made $1.1 million as official money on the LPGA Tour in 2024. On the Ladies European Tour, Hull won the Aramco Team Series Riyadh and registered her fourth LET win.
Charley Hull says she has stopped being on Instagram
Charley Hull has been on the LPGA Tour since 2015 and has registered two LPGA Tour wins in her career. 2024 has been a special year for Hull as he has received immense love from fans, especially on social media.
During the pre-round press conference of the 2024 Solheim Cup, the British pro golfer revealed she doesn't have access to her Instagram account, and her agent posts everything for her.
"Truthfully, I don't have access to my Instagram. I stopped being on Instagram six months ago now. My agent posts everything for me. I don't log onto it. I don't do nothing on it. I literally send her the photos I want to be posted, and she'll post them for me," Hull said.
She continued further and revealed why she doesn't feel like being on social media.
"I feel like social media can be too time-consuming. You can get too obsessed with it rather than just living in the real world. I think it's unbelievable how many followers I've gained."
Further, when questioned about what makes her relatable, which makes people follow her, Charley Hull said:
"Well, I'm just myself. If I like things, I like it for myself. If other people don't like it, well, it's not their life. I live me. I live my life the way I want to live it, not how anyone else wants me to live it. I think literally just live like a normal person."
