15-year-old Miles Russell is set to make his PGA Tour debut at the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic. Russell's inclusion in the event has earned him praise from golf fans, and many are also comparing him with the likes of Tiger Woods. After all, Russell is playing on a PGA Tour event at a pretty young age.

The youngest player to play on the PGA Tour is Don Dunkelberger. In 1937, Dunkelberger, who was 11 years, 11 months and 10 days old, stepped onto the Medinah Country Club course to play The Chicago Open. While Dunkelberger withdrew after Round 1, he became the youngest player to play on the prestigious tour.

Miles Russell received an exemption into the 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship
After Miles Russell competes at the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic, he will also be seen playing at the 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship, which is set to be held in November. Earlier this year, the 15-year-old golfer received a sponsor exemption into the tournament.
The 2024 Bermuda Championship will take place at the Port Royal Golf Club. The American Junior Golf Association announced Russell's exemption on April 22nd, 2024.
Russell said he was honored to receive the exemption and further spoke about playing at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
“I am honored to be receiving an exemption into the 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship. I have dreamt of playing on the PGA TOUR my entire life and to have that dream coming to fruition later this year is a feeling that I cannot describe. I am grateful to the tournament and the AJGA for their partnership that is allowing me this incredible opportunity.”
Miles Russell will currently be focused on the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic which will begin on June 27th at Detroit Golf Club. He will be paired with Pierceson Coody and Rico Hoey. The three golfers will tee off at 14:11 ET.
