Jhonattan Luis Vegas is one of the most accomplished and gifted golfers in the sport. Vegas is a Venezuelan professional golfer who competes on the PGA Tour and has competed in two Olympic Games. He was born on August 19, 1984.

Vegas was born in Maturin, Venezuela. He played university golf at the University of Texas and in 2008, he turned pro.

He was the first Venezuelan golfer to receive his PGA Tour card and finished seventh on the money list in 2011. On January 23, 2011, he emerged victorious in the Bob Hope Classic, a PGA Tour event, in a sudden-death playoff against Gary Woodland and Bill Haas. He reached his career-high world ranking of 35th. In 2017, he made history as the first Venezuelan golfer to participate in the Presidents Cup. He represented Venezuela in golf at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, placing 16th.
