Kurt Kitayama’s Driver
TaylorMade drivers have been used by Kitayama for quite some time. He started with the M5, worked his way up to the SIM, then the SIM2, and then eventually to the Stealth option.
His current driver is the TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus. Golfers may fine-tune their ball flight with the help of a 15-gram sliding weight on the Stealth 2 Plus driver, which has the smallest footprint of the three new models. The shaft on his model is a Graphite Design Tour AD UB 7 TX.
Kurt Kitayama’s Fairways
Kitayama has two TaylorMade fairway woods in his bag. The first is a Stealth 2, which is a high-launch model with about 16.5 degrees of loft. After that, he also makes use of a TaylorMade Stealth 2 seven-wood, which has a loft of about 21 degrees.
Graphite shafts are installed on both of them. Graphite Design Tour AD UB shafts are used in the three-wood and seven-wood, with a slight change of 8 TX and 9 TX, respectively.
Kurt Kitayama’s Irons
Kitayama makes use of a series of TaylorMade's irons; he uses P7MC irons for his four to six irons and P7MB irons for his seven irons down to his pitching wedge.
The former type features a little cavity back design for a little bit of forgiveness, while the latter is the blade design. The shafts on all of his irons are True Temper Dynamic Gold X100.
Kurt Kitayama’s Wedges
Two of the three wedges that Kitayama carries are 52 and 56 degree lofted TaylorMade Milled Grind 3 versions. His sixty-degree model is a Titleist Vokey WedgeWorks prototype, a wedge that is commonly found in the bags of Tour players. All of them have Dynamic Golf S400 shafts installed.
Kurt Kitayama’s Putter
Kitayama's putter situation includes his history of using models from Odyssey, TaylorMade, and Scotty Cameron, as well as his willingness to alternate between blade, mid-mallet, and mallet designs.
Kitayama now plays with a TaylorMade Spider X in Hydro Blast, the same finish that Rory McIlroy utilizes.
Kurt Kitayama’s Golf Ball
Katiyama has a TP5x model ball. Golf Monthly recently gave this ball a five-star evaluation because it does a great job of combining feel and tour performance in a low-spin golf ball.
