American professional golfer Kurt Shun Kitayama was born on January 14, 1993, and currently competes on the PGA Tour. He won the Oman Open in March 2019 and the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in December 2018 on the European Tour.

In 2015, Kitayama became a professional. At the end of 2017, he was ranked 1174th in the world. He played primarily on the Web.com Tour in 2016 and 2017, with little success. However, his current Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) is 30th. He primarily performed on the Asian Tour in 2018.
