The 2024 LIV Golf Invitational in Adelaide was played at the iconic Grange Golf Club in late April. Ripper GC and Brendan Steele won and it had a record attendance of over 94,000 fans.
Sports Business Awards has shortlisted the event for Best Sports Event of 2024. According to consulting agency 54, it had an economic impact of a whopping $78.5 million with spectators arriving from over 30 countries. 93 percent of fans rated it as a 7 or higher out of 10.
The Saudi circuit's 'Watering Hole' was a massive hit with fans and players. It was also dubbed the 'party hole'. Players would walk out to the tee box to a song of their choice surrounded by cheering fans.

The hyped LIV Golf Invitational in Adelaide will return to the Grange Golf Club from February 14 to 16 next year. World-renowned DJ Dom Dolla will perform his only 2025 South Australia show at the tournament on Friday, February 14. Sharing his excitement for the artist's appearance and the event's return to Adelaide, the league's CEO Greg Norman said:
"Dom Dolla is an exciting addition to the event, and he’s sure to set the tone on Friday and create an atmosphere at The Grange that fans will enjoy all weekend long. The entire league can’t wait to return to South Australia in February – summertime in Australia is about to get loud.”
Three-time surfing world champion Mick Fanning will headline the event as the official ambassador. He said:
"I’m pumped to be the LIV Golf Adelaide Ambassador for 2025 – it’s a golfer’s dream weekend out and an opportunity for Australians to see the best golfers up close and at their absolute best. LIV Golf Adelaide is a sport masterclass-meets-an epic party and I just love how it brings together so many different fans from around Australia – whether you are a golfer or not – for an almighty three-day event.”
Ground passes and hospitality tickets are available on the league's official website. Three-day passes are sold out but Friday, Saturday, and Sunday tickets are available. Children aged 12 and under are given free ground pass admission.
