The 20th edition of the Lloyd Business Today Pro Am of Champions 2016, one of India’s most prestigious corporate Golf tournaments felicitated the finalists at the ITC Maurya Sheraton in New Delhi. It is one of the most keenly awaited annual golfing events where India’s top corporate decision makers and leading golfing professionals play together. The finals of this event was played at the Jack Nicklaus designed Classic Golf Resort.

Played on Stableford format on ¾ handicap, the event witnessed keen golfing action for individual as well as National trophy. The winning team from Delhi comprising of Bharat Dhawan (Mazars), Avesh Bhatnagar (M/S Bhatnagar Agencies), Ravi Khanna (Kwikforms Structurals) and Saurabh Sood (GATX) prevailed with a combined score of 105 points.
The Mumbai team comprising of Subrat Mohanty, Pramod Bhambani, Jayen Ramesh Shah and Paras Shah, finished Runners Up with 101 points.
Speaking on the occasion, Charu Sharma, Indian Commentator said, ”I think this is one of the best and stand alone Pro Am were amateur players like us get a wonderful opportunity to play with one of the finest women professional golfers from India.”
Saaniya Sharma, a pro Women golfer from Chandigarh said, “I am very thankful to the organizers for this exciting tournament where we get to interact with top executives from across India. We look forward to more such platforms where we women professionals get to showcase our talents.”
The Lloyd Business Today Pro Am of Champions 2016 is one of the finest and most prestigious golf tournaments for the top executives across India. This illustrious event, with a legacy of 20 years, offers Indian corporate bigwigs the opportunity to rendezvous with the greens while they rub their shoulders with some of the game's most finest professional Women Golfers.
The regional rounds witnessed the top corporate decision-makers compete with one another at India’s finest golf courses. The event had teed off from October and were held in across 7 cities – Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai , Kolkata and in Delhi.
To make participating corporates get even more competitive, the tournament format was tweaked to introduce National Finals for the corporates who had to rise through the ranks in the City Finals.
