The Lotte Championship is an LPGA Tour professional event, inaugurated in 2012. The format of the event is a stroke play on 72 holes. The inaugural event was presented by J Golf, has always been sponsored by LOTTE, and was held at the Ko Olina Golf Club in Kapolei, Hawaii. The event was won by Ai Miyazato by four strokes.
Lotte is a Japanese and South Korean industrial firm that is the tournament's title sponsor. Korean network J Golf served as the presenting sponsor from 2012 to 2014. Hershey served as the presenting sponsor from 2015 to 2018. Since 2022, Hoakalei has been the presenting sponsor.

Australian Kim won the LPGA for the first time with a 7-foot birdie putt on the par-5 18th hole in the opening hole of the playoffs. Peiyun Chien and Linnea Strom shared fourth place, finishing one shot out of the playoffs.
