Tiger Woods once shared a Christmas-themed picture, saying the look was a "Christmas tradition" that his kids loved. The American legendary golfer's Christmas look in December 2016 became an internet sensation after he shared a shirtless picture on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
Woods posed wearing a cap, white wig, and sunglasses. Sharing the picture, Woods wrote:
"Xmas tradition that my kids love. Mac Daddy Santa is back! -TW"
Although it's been years since he created the look, fans still can't get over it. Over the years around Christmas, Tiger Woods' Mac Daddy Santa look often becomes the talk of the town.
Tiger Woods recreates an iconic movie poster for 2024 Christmas poster
TaylorMade has a long tradition of sharing unique and interesting Christmas cards around the festive season every year. This year, the golf equipment manufacturer has again grabbed attention with a poster featuring golf legend Tiger Woods.
This year, the company recreated movie posters featuring golfers for Christmas. Tiger Woods recreated the poster for the classic 1989 movie "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." Just like the movie's poster, for this year's Christmas card, Tiger Woods was seen wearing Santa's clothes with gifts around, and he looked shocked.
The poster read, "TaylorMade Golf's Tiger's Vacation." Intriguingly, the cap had the Sun Day Red logo on it. Sharing the 2024 Christmas poster, TaylorMade wrote:
"@TigerWoods taught us everything we know about exterior illumination. #TeamTaylorMade"
TaylorMade also shared several other posters of golfers recreating movie posters. The poster of "Home Alone" was recreated with Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, and Charley Hull. Meanwhile, a "Die Hard" poster featured Tommy Fleetwood.
Meanwhile, ahead of Christmas, Tiger Woods had a memorable golf outing with his family at the 2024 PNC Championship. The tournament was held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club from December 21 to 22, and Woods played with his son Charlie in it. His daughter Sam was the caddie for the tournament.
It was a memorable outing ahead of Christmas for the Woods family as the 15-year-old Charlie made his first hole-in-one during the second round of the tournament.
During a press conference at the tournament, Tiger Woods opened up about the memorable moment. He said (via ASAP Sports),
"We heard it up on the green on the right and left but we were totally unsure until the TV confirmed it. And we went nuts. I don't know what we did but we enjoyed it. It was an unbelievable moment. I was talking to Todd out there, and that two-hole stretch, that was his first eagle he ever made out there on 3, and then his first hole-in-one."
The father-son duo was in contention to win the title but lost in a playoff to Bernhard and Jason Langer, who won the title for the second year in a row.
