American professional golfer Maverick Scott McNealy earned a degree in management science and engineering from Stanford University in 2018. He was born on November 7, 1995. In late 2016 and early 2017, he occupied the top spot in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

At the age of 18, McNealy played at the 2014 U.S. Open in Pinehurst. Tiger Woods and Cameron Wilson's 18-hole Stanford record was tied by McNealy's 61 in the final round of the Pac-12 Conference Championship during the 2014–15 golf season.

McNealy became the third golfer from Stanford University to win the Haskins Award since 1971, the other two being Tiger Woods and Patrick Rodgers, given yearly to the best collegiate male golfer in the United States.

In 2016, he considered going into business, but he declared in August 2017 that he would turn professional following the 2017 Walker Cup. He debuted as a professional at the Safeway Open.

McNealy’s father, Scott McNealy, was a co-founder of Sun Microsystems, which the Oracle Corporation purchased in 2010 for $7.4 billion.

Maverick McNealy's Caddie

As of 2023, Maverick McNealy's caddie is Travis McAlister; he has been McNealy’s caddie for a long time. In 2018, McNealy posted on Instagram “Just received confirmation that if I shoot 63 or better the remainder of this @WebDotComTour season, my caddy Travis will shave his head #makeTmacBaldAgain”

Maverick McNealy had a respectable but unremarkable season on the Web.com Tour in 2018. He was ranked 47th on the Money List after two top-10 finishes, including a T-3 at the United Leasing & Finance Championship in April. McAlister had promised to shave his head in the event that McNealy shot a 63 or lower.

However, not much is known about Travis McAlister; aside from that, he is Maverick McNealy's caddie, and there are only a few mentions of him while Maverick was speaking with publications.

What is the net worth of Travis McAlister?

Unfortunately, no information is available regarding the net worth of Travis McAlister. Usually, a caddie receives a base income as well as a portion of the money that the player makes. Although every arrangement is unique, the average PGA Tour caddie will make between $1,500 and $3,000 per day.

If their golfer finishes outside the top 10, they will normally receive 5% of the prizes, 6% for a top-10 finish, and 10% for tournament victories.

At the conclusion of the tournament, professionals could also opt to award their caddie a tip or bonus. However, the caddies do not always make money because, most of the time, they are responsible for covering their own travel and lodging costs.

Caddies must pay self-employment taxes and health insurance fees as independent contractors, even if the PGA Tour pays for the coverage.
