Following a stellar campaign in 2014, world No.1 Rory McIlroy has been named the European Tour's Golfer of the Year and the Players' Player of the Year.
The player from Northern Ireland has claimed seven titles in the past 12 months, including triumphs at the Open and the US PGA as well two World Golf Championships, reports dailymail.co.uk.
"The last 12 months have been incredible," he said on Tuesday night.
"I've put the hard work in and it's really paid off seven wins in the last 12 months and I'm just trying to keep it going."
McIlroy, who is preparing to defend his BMW PGA Championship title at Wentworth, England, later this week, is hoping to claim more titles before the end of the year.
"I'm just trying to win as much as I can," McIlroy said.
"There are three majors left and I feel two of those venues could suit me -- St. Andrews (The Open) and Whistling Straits (US PGA Championship)."
"Chambers Bay at the US Open is a bit of an unknown quantity. But there are two great opportunities for major titles and a lot of other opportunities for wins."
