American professional golfer Megan Khang started competing at age five and, less than ten years later, at 14 years old, she qualified for the Women's Open in 2012. She obtained a spot on the LPGA Tour for the 2016 season after turning pro in 2015.

Three of Khang's four professional victories—the Connecticut Women's Open in 2012, 2013 and 2015—came during her amateur career. She made 17 cuts out of 28 events during her first season on the LPGA Tour, placing her in the top 10 twice.

Khang won her first LPGA Tour victory in August at the 2023 CPKC Women's Open. She overcame Jin Young Ko with a par on the first extra hole following a final-round score of 74.

Megan Khang’s Driver

Khang has been a staff member of PXG since her debut on the LPGA Tour. Her driver is the PXG 0311 GEN6, which is adjusted for nine degrees of loft, and she mainly uses a bag of PXG clubs.

PXG clubs are recognized for being at the high end of the market, yet the 0311 driver is more affordable than any of the top drivers on the market right now. Khang uses the normal 0311 Gen6 driver, but the PXG 0311 XF Gen6 is an extremely forgiving choice as well.

Golf Monthly reports that the XF model did very well in their tests. They saw significant improvements in ball speed and distance over Gen 5 and were astounded by the playability and forgiving made possible by the weighting system that was fine-tuned.

Megan Khang’s Fairways

Khang is presently using a three-wood PXG prototype that isn't available for market purchase. The 0211 range of PXG woods is among the greatest value clubs available right now.

This is especially true given that the pricing also includes an in-person or online fitting. Khang's model comes with a Mitsubishi Chemical Diamana TB shaft with a loft angle of 15 degrees.

Megan Khang’s Hybrid

Khang includes two hybrids in her bag—TaylorMade GAPR Hi clubs—while the remainder is made up of PXG clubs. This is an intriguing selection because having been launched in 2018, the club is much older.

Tour players usually have their own preferences, and Khang's choice to choose an older TaylorMade model is a prime illustration of how pros frequently disregard newer products in favor of what they believe will best fit their style. Currently, she carries two of them, each with a loft of 19 and 22 degrees and Graphite Design Tour AD UT Hybrid shafts installed.

Megan Khang’s Irons

Khang uses the PXG 0211 ST from pitching wedge to five iron. Released in 2021, these models are somewhat older. The PXG 0211 ST blades are solid-body, triple-forged irons with outstanding workability and feel.

Testing conducted by Golf Monthly reveals that the distances repeated themselves and that the worst strikes experienced the biggest drops in carry. Faster swingers will likely benefit most from these irons because of their rather flatball trajectory. Those who want a bit of extra speed and help off-center can choose the equally outstanding 0211 DC model.

Megan Khang’s Wedges

Khang has three milled PXG 0311 Sugar Daddy II wedges with lofts of 52, 56, and 60 degrees. The Sugar Daddy II is a very adaptable wedge that would compete with any on the market due to the additional grind option and the special degrees of adjustability.

During Golf Monthly's testing, these wedges were particularly notable for the spin and forgiveness they offered. Forged from 8620 carbon steel, they were nevertheless a tad on the firm side.

Players can pick between two sole grinds (C and BP) on Sugar Daddy II wedges. Whereas the BP-Grind was designed for forgiving and gentler conditions, the C-Grind was made for versatility and harsher grass and sand conditions.

Megan Khang’s Putter

Khang's putter of choice is a PXG Battle Ready Brandon. The Battle Ready putter line is excellent, and particularly the wide range of shaft length, loft lie weight, and hosel options available are appreciable.

PXG's version of the traditional Anser blade putter is called the Brandon. This putter shape has been honored by several brands, and it's unquestionably among the greatest putters out there. Golf Monthly gave the Brandon five stars for its excellent sound and feel, balanced head, and overall greatness.

Megan Khang’s Golf Ball

Khang uses the new Titleist Pro V1 golf ball, as do a lot of other golfers. The major thing that impressed Golf Monthly during the Pro V1's most recent testing was how remarkably consistent it was in the long game.

Many years have passed since the Pro V1 ball gained widespread popularity, yet champions have managed to make a few minor tweaks without compromising what makes this ball so distinctive.

Megan Khang Swing Speed

Unfortunately, there is no information available about Khang’s driver's swing speed. However, Khang's average driving distance in 2023 was 255.59 yards (ranked 90), according to the LPGA Tour. This is around 25 yards short of the leading average on the tour, which is 281.75 yards.
