The left-handed Masters winner, Mike Weir, was born on May 12, 1970. He won the 2003 Masters Tournament against Len Mattiace in a playoff and also reached his career-high Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) No. 3. Since 2020, he has joined the PGA Tour Champions, and before that, he played on the PGA Tour.
In his professional career, he has won 14 times, eight of them on the PGA Tour. He debuted on the Korn Ferry Tour in 1992, the year he turned pro. He also received the Canadian Order of Merit in 1997.
He won his first professional match in the 1999 Air Canada Championship, defeating Fred Funk by two strokes with a total of 266, under 18. The next season, he won the WGC-American Express Championship after defeating Lee Westwood. He also won the 2001 Tour Championship in a four-way playoff against Sergio Garcia, David Toms, and Ernie Els.
He won his final PGA Tour event in 2007 at the Fry's Electonics Open, defeating Mark Hensby by a single shot. His most recent victory was at the Insperity Invitational in May 2021; this was his first international win in 14 years, except for the five-man 2010 Telus Skins Game.

Mike Weir’s Driver
Weir hits the fairway 68% of the time and averages 277 yards off the tee. To increase his distance with the big stick, the 2001 Tour Championship victor uses the new Tour Edge Exotics C723 10.5-degree driver.
Designed specifically for tours, the Exotics C723 boasts a low center of gravity and a Diamond Face VFT for increased speed and launch. Furthermore, its Quad Carbon Technology increases the clubface's moment of inertia (MOI) at an impact, minimizing spin-up and speed drop-off.
Mike Weir’s Fairways
In the Fairway Woods, Weir continues with the Exotics C723. He decides to carry the range's adjustable, quick-spinning, low-spinning 3 and 5 woods.
Increased spring off the clubface was produced by Tour Edge engineers using their patented Diamond Face VFT technology. The result is a high-powered launch with few spin revolutions and fast ball speed.
Mike Weir’s Hybrid
Weir chooses the extremely forgiving Exotics E722 hybrid, which has great MOI levels, a high launch, smooth turf engagement, and enhanced acoustics.
Although Ryzersole Technology restricts turf interaction, Diamond Face VFT Technology seems to increase ball velocity and reduce spin. It is quite easy to drive through rough course and still make good contact with the ball.
All things considered, the Tour Edge Exotics E722 Hybrid is a good choice for the typical golfer who wants reliable launch, accuracy, and distance.
Mike Weir’s Irons
Weir switches to the Exotics Pro 723 range, but he still uses Tour Edge for his 5 to 9-iron needs. As the season goes on, he plans to increase his percentage of greens hit in regulation using the forged cavity irons.
These irons' feel, acoustics, and forgiveness, regardless of the shape of the player's iron, are always praised. The VIBRCOR Cavity and Center Cavity Pad created a delicate sensation on every strike.
They should be left to pros like the man who has the longest birdie streak on the PGA Tour Champions in 2023, Weir, though, given that their degree of leniency is significantly lower than that of a game-improvement iron.
Mike Weir’s Wedges
Weir switched his allegiance to Titleist Vokey's dependable hands. He is the 9th-best sand saver and the 14th-best scrambler, so it's obvious that the Vokey SM8 wedge works for him.
Vokey designed the SM8 to provide controlled flight, a buttery-soft feel on all strikes, and a higher MOI for greater stability. Furthermore, the remarkable revolutions per minute produced by their spin-milled grooves encourage drop-and-hop spin on short approach shots.
Mike Weir’s Putter
Depending on the course and preference, the alumnus of Brigham Young University employs multiple flat sticks. The Scotty Cameron Circle T Newport is exclusive to tour players, and he has seen him use it in training videos.
He has occasionally seen him putt with a black, winged mallet putter that looks like a Phantom X 7.5. Nobody is ever able to obtain a clear enough glimpse, though, to verify the markings and be certain, as per Senior Golf Source.
Mike Weir’s Golf Ball
Last but not least, Weir uses Titleist Pro V1, one of the best golf balls on the market. The Pro V1's improved long game consistency suggests that Titleist has made some minor but significant changes without substantially changing the characteristics that have made the product popular with players.
