Myrtle Beach Classic 2024 Course details
The Dunes Golf and Beach Club will host the 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic. The slope rating of the course is 148, and its rating is 76.1. The Dunes Course's signature hole is hole #13, sometimes known as "Waterloo."
The Robert Trent Jones-designed Dunes Golf and Beach Club was established in May 1948. From 1994 to 1999, it was the site of the PGA Tour Champions season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship, which saw victories from Raymond Floyd, Jim Colbert, Jay Sigel, Gil Morgan, Hale Irwin, and Gary McCord, among others.
In October 1973, the PGA Tour Q-School Finals were held at the Dunes Club, and Ben Crenshaw, the three-time reigning NCAA champion, won the medal. The World Golf Hall of Famer would go on to win in his very first PGA Tour appearance the following month, making history as only the second player to do it ever.
This well-known 18-hole golf course is regularly ranked among the top 100 in the US right now. The championship course, which is overseen by Robert Trent Jones's son, Rees Jones, is 7,450 yards long.
