Fifteen of the Epson Tour players have earned the LPGA Tour card for the 2025 season with the conclusion of the season-ending Tour Championship. The 2024 Epson Tour Championship was completed with its finale on Sunday, October 6, and after the event, players in the top 15 of the Race for the Card standings earned the LPGA Tour card. However, five of them had already secured the card, and after the conclusion of the Epson Tour Championship, the names of all 15 players were revealed.

"That's definitely a dream come true" - Heather Lin on securing the LPGA Tour card at the last moment

Heather Lin was in a must-win situation at the Epson Tour Championship in order to secure the LPGA Tour card. She played fabulously throughout the event and finally registered the win.

She started the final round one stroke behind the leader but shot a 4-under 67 in the final round to register a one-stroke victory. Speaking of her performance, Lin said (via LPGA):

"I was actually super nervous. I mean, this is my first time ever being in this position and first time ever winning a professional tournament. But my coach yesterday was prepared for me. He was like, you're going to be very, very nervous. You know, just would be prepared about that. And then just deep breath. Try not to fight it instead of accepting it. And I tell you, I know I'm nervous. You know, I know I'm shaking. But, just deep breath and yeah, I think I did a pretty good job for the first time.”

She also expressed her happiness at securing the LPGA Tour card, saying:

“That's definitely a dream come true. I mean, honestly, coming into this week, I was just trying to get out of stage two because with my where my ranking is at and, I knew I had a chance. I was in contention. And the I mean, I don't even know if winning was good enough to get it, the 15th card. But, you know, everything worked out perfectly,” Heather Lin said.

Notably, the players finishing in the top 10 in the Race for the Card will earn status on the 2025 LPGA Tour under Category 9 in the priority list.
