2023 AIG Women's Open field and player rankings explored

The 2023 AIG Women's Open is set to tee off on Thursday, August 10, at the Walton Heath Golf Club in Surrey, England. The event also known as the British Open is the final major championship on the LPGA calendar. It features the world’s top stars on its 144-player field.

Being played in its originally intended slot, the AIG Women's British Open will be headlined by the likes of Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu, Jin Young Ko, Lydia Ko, Celine Boutier and Atthaya Thitikul, among others. The major event will have 46 of the top 50 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Ranking among the top contenders.

Defending champion Ashleigh Buhai will also be on the field. The Women's Open, which has been on the LPGA schedule since 2001, will see the circuit’s top names compete for an impressive $7.3 million purse.
